Tom Gasson
I have worked at Pierview Academy for over 14 years and have gained extensive experience supporting young people with a wide range of Special Educational Needs. Throughout my career, I have taught a variety of subjects and have seen first-hand the positive impact that a nurturing, supportive environment can have on young people, enabling them to grow in confidence, succeed and reach their full potential.
I am an Assistant Headteacher and currently lead Post-16, alongside my roles as Designated Safeguarding Lead and Careers Lead. I am passionate about developing the young minds of our students, supporting them not only to achieve academically but also to develop the skills, confidence and resilience they need to become well-rounded young adults who can make a positive contribution to our wonderful community and beyond.
