The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic PSHE Teacher, ideal for Early Career Teachers or experienced teachers looking to broaden their experience. The postholder will:

Lead the teaching and learning of PSHE for learners aged 11+

Deliver lessons covering relationships, mental health, citizenship, careers, and well-being across secondary and post-16 students

Develop differentiated lesson plans and schemes of work aligned with the school curriculum

Assess pupil progress, provide constructive feedback, and support preparation for relevant accreditation

Guide, mentor, and inspire Tutors and LSAs, promoting professional development

Contribute to pastoral care, liaising with parents and carers, and supporting pupils’ personal and social development

Foster a positive, inclusive, and purposeful learning environment
Key Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Degree-level qualification in English or PSHE, with at least Level 2 Maths

Knowledge of SEND and ability to adapt lessons to meet diverse learner needs

Experience working with young people with complex needs or challenging behaviour

Strong organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills

ALP Pierview Academy is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will lead the teaching of learners who, for various reasons, do not access mainstream education and have single or multiple special educational needs (SEN).
You will deliver engaging, personalised lessons to learners one-to-one and in small groups, support other teachers, and contribute to tracking learner progress. The role may involve teaching across the school’s age range of 11–25 years.
